Blower for end suction in large dust collectors. Intended for outdoor installation (in coastal areas), the blower is thoroughly protected from rust. The coating is made up of 2 layers of epoxy resin and 1 layer of polyurethane resin paint. All the intermittent welds on the outer surfaces are protected by caulking to prevent rust from emerging from the materials mating surfaces. As well, we use SUS304 for all surface bolts. Finally, it has a direct coupling and oil bath shaft bearings.

Intended for use in a corrosive environment. The gas contact parts are made from SUS304, and the casing and intake port are Teflon coated. The shaft seal is a Teflon sheet gasket. As well, the casing and shaft bearings base are joined by removable bolts, allowing the casing to be replaced separately.

A blower with an airtight, pressure resistant specification.
Rated for pressure resistance up to 5 kgf/cm2 (0.5 MPa). The casing is made with thick plating to resist deformation under pressure, and the interior is lined with stainless steel. Airtightness is maintained in the shaft through-hole section with dry gas mechanical seals.

Tested pressure was an extremely high 10 kgf/cm2 (1 MPa). The gas temperature rose to around 120℃ due to the pressurized circulation, and significant deformation was observed in the ducts used for the circulation test. Mechanical seal blower was used.
Airtight Specification

If leakage from the blower is not permitted because, for example, special gases are being handled, leaks become an issue, especially from the shaft though-hole section. The photograph shows an airtight-type blower in which a water-lubricated double mechanical seal is used for the shaft seal. We can build blowers with different kinds of shaft seals for your required application.

If the noise produced by the blower needs to be reduced, a sound-proof cabinet that surrounds the blower is a very effective measure. Sound-proof cabinets include access panels for inspections and ventilating fans to combat heat.

Wind Tunnel Experimental Equipment
This wind tunnel uses a 900 mm-diameter axial flow blower with a "Kairyu" adjustable fan blade impeller. (Outline dimensions: 8.3 m x 3.2 m)
The axial flow blower with a "Kairyu" adjustable fan blade impeller is highly efficient and delivers a large airflow. Honeycomb meshes and other wire meshes and straightening plates are used to correct the airflow and ensure cross-sectionally uniform airflow inside the tunnel. The diameter of the exhaust port is 500 mm, and the maximum wind speed is 50 m/s (180 km/h).
